CourseDescription-1
永續概論與實務 (Introduction to Sustainability and Practices)
Sustainable development, 2050 Net-Zero Emissions, and ESG are among the pressing topics around the world! This course will not only introduce you to sustainable development and the SDGs, but also to DIYGreen zero-waste urban farming, ESG, circular economy and circular agriculture, carbon management, sustainable design (including life cycle assessment), social enterprises, and educational reform in Finland.
But that's not all, we also have a practical hands-on portion in this course!
We will divide the class into two groups to build two types of DIYGreen campus farms. One group will grow vegetables, and the other will grow strawberries and cherry tomatoes.
In addition, there will be practical workshops where students will work in pairs and collaborate with enterprises to brainstorm and implement efficient and innovative ESG projects. Groups with outstanding projects will even have the opportunity to participate in a competition!
Come join us, transition from knowledge to action, and become a driver of sustainable development!
