【課程簡介】 北投，舊稱「北投社」，是台北市最早開發的地方之一，發展出許多獨特且豐富的人文景觀。 例如，在捷運新北投站一帶，由於盛產硫磺，發展出著名的溫泉街。而陽明校區的所在地唭哩岸，在建校前以盛產唭哩岸石而聞名，有打石山之稱。而營業超過三十載歲月的北投市場，什麼都有，什麼都賣，堪稱庶民生活的百科全書。還有還有，一群北投在地小農，正將對土地的永續關懷化為行動…… 本課程以「北投在地文史踏查」為課程主題，邀請在地文史工作者北投說書人 與人氣速寫畫家B6速寫男擔任業師，帶領同學一起繪製北投人文地景。 -

Li-Hong, Zhang – Learning in the City – “The Course in the City” Series
課．城市系列課程：以城市為課，課在城市裡 一轉眼，又到了九月開學迎接新生與新學期的時刻，博雅書苑除了協助同學的加退選與學分認證事宜、協助安排老師們開設課程所需要的教室/跨校區教室、遠距教學、教學助理的聘雇等等例行事務。同時即將推出自暑假初便開始精心籌備的「課．城市」新系列課程的宣傳工作也進入緊鑼密鼓的階段。課．城市是一系列文史踏查與創意實作的模組式課程，以「以城市為課，課在城市裡」為發想，並以校園為輻輳加以周圍的人文地景向外發散作為課程的場域。帶領同學走進社區，從時間與空間的變化探索人與社會之間的關聯性。 在本學期的課．城市中將先從陽明校區所在的北投區出發，帶領同學「走進老北投」：北投的地名源自於平埔族語裡的「ki-pataw」，也就是「女巫」之意，認為北投的地熱谷是因為受到女巫的施法，才會終年冒出氤氳蒸騰的煙霧。這塊區域由於這得天獨厚的地質條件，發展出台北市十分著名的「溫泉街廓」。在城市的發展上，北投曾歷經數次公民文化與永續發展運動成為少數具有社區發展憲章（北投憲章）的社區之一。以北投溫泉博物館的設立為例：該館原為1913年由日人所建立的公共澡堂，在戰後因年久失修而廢棄。沒想到在1994年北投國小師生鄉土教學的課程中，意外發現建物的歷史價值，因此同學發起連署向台北市政府遞交陳情書引起了大家對於歷史建物保存的關注。經當地的民意代表、學者與居民的共同努力下有了「北投溫泉博物館」的誕生
